Mission Statement

We, the catechists of St. Mary, Star of the Sea Parish, strive through our presence and actions to help guide our students as they encounter Jesus on their faith journey. We encourage growth of the Catholic Faith through teaching Catholic doctrine and tradition, prayer, faith in action, and personal witness to enable the students to share Jesus’ message of love with others. We strive to live the Word of Life always and to reflect it in our personal lives, classroom, and in our day-to-day dealings.

Our Religious Education Program Meets Sundays from the Mid September through May.

Our Religious Education Program is held Sunday mornings. Kindergarten through Grade 8 meet from immediately following the 10 AM Mass to 12:15pm.

Confirmation Prep ~ Grades 8 & 9 will meet in the Parish Hall monthly on  Sunday Mornings as scheduled through the school year.
